OUR STORY

We started this journey 20 years back with a vision to give rural women an honorable living wage for a skill that was undervalued and under appreciated.
Today, Dara haath has perfected a process management system that has not only kept a dying skill alive, but also helped women have agency over their lives by paying them living wages. Our journey has humbled us and taught us that sometimes if you follow a path earnestly and honestly things work themselves out. We are deeply proud of the Dara product. It represents the potential of converting rich traditional skills into smart, functional clothing for the modern woman. Dara’s journey shows that Pakistan has an inherent advantage to chart out an ethical fashion presence in the world. 
We hope to be one of the first ones to do that.
